Look at the second set

A complete wheel has a tire already mounted on a rim. Motrive's seasonal service exchanges four complete wheels. If your replacement tires have no rims inside them, choose Motrive’s separate off-rim mounting and balancing service. Checking this before requesting a visit prevents a provider arriving for work they cannot perform.

Describe the actual vehicle

Provide the year, make, model, wheel size and any locking-wheel key requirement. A shared address does not make two cars interchangeable: wheel specifications and final checks belong to each vehicle. Mention unusual hardware or a known problem before requesting a quote; these details can change whether the visit is eligible.

Keep the service record

After the visit, review the provider's recorded checks and any follow-up instructions in your visit details. Tire pressure and vehicle-specific requirements should follow the vehicle manufacturer's guidance. A seasonal wheel swap is not a substitute for diagnosing damaged tires, vibration or another mechanical problem.

Take it into your next request

  • Four compatible complete wheels, already on rims
  • Any locking-wheel key and required hardware
  • A clear, level and authorized private work area
  • Your vehicle details and any known concerns
