Mobile tire mounting and balancing: prepare for the right service

Prepare customer-supplied tires, vehicle and wheel details, TPMS requirements and an authorized work area before requesting off-rim tire mounting and balancing.

Start with the tires you already have

For Motrive’s off-rim service, you supply the replacement tires. Share the markings and condition of those tires before requesting a visit, including their size, load and speed ratings and construction. The team must review their suitability for your vehicle and wheels. If your replacement tires are already installed on a second set of compatible rims, choose an on-rim wheel swap instead.

Match the equipment to the actual wheel

Describe wheel size, low-profile or run-flat construction, locking hardware and any tire-pressure monitoring system, also called TPMS. These details help determine the required equipment and whether a qualified provider can take the work. Report an existing warning or damaged sensor. Sensor repair, replacement or programming must be reviewed explicitly; a mounting request does not automatically include those tasks.

Prepare an authorized place to work

Keep the vehicle, replacement tires and any locking-wheel key accessible. Choose a clear, level private work area with room for the reviewed equipment and safe access around the vehicle. Obtain the property manager’s permission for shared parking and describe any height or access restrictions. Street parking alone is not a suitable work site, and weather can require a different arrival window.

Review the full scope before confirming

Your reviewed quote should identify the vehicle, the tires and wheels involved, the agreed work, required supplies, travel and applicable taxes. Check any limits or follow-up instructions before accepting the price. A request starts the review; an eligible address and a listed city do not by themselves confirm equipment availability or provider assignment. Keep the final service record with your vehicle documents.

Take it into your next request

  • Customer-supplied replacement tires, with readable markings and condition details
  • Exact vehicle and wheel size, including any staggered setup
  • Run-flat, low-profile and TPMS information disclosed for review
  • Locking-wheel key and permission for the private work area
  • Clear access for the vehicle, tires and agreed equipment
  • Reviewed scope and final price accepted before confirmation
