Before confirming

Replacement tires must be on their own rims. Sizes and fitment are checked against the equipment of the provider available in your area.

The location must be authorized, level and suitable for the work. Your requested window is confirmed after provider assignment.

A wheel swap needs a second complete set.

Choose an on-rim wheel swap when the replacement tires are already mounted on their own compatible rims. The provider exchanges complete wheel assemblies. Four loose tires beside the vehicle require tire mounting and balancing instead; changing the service after arrival can require different equipment, review and pricing.

  • The complete replacement set is at the service address
  • Wheel-lock key and any required wheel hardware are available
  • Any different front/rear sizes or TPMS concerns are disclosed
Have loose tires? Compare mounting and balancing

Compatibility and condition come before the swap.

A set that came with another vehicle is not automatically compatible. Share the tire and wheel details, known modifications and any damaged or missing hardware. Report a visible tire cut, bulge, damaged wheel or persistent pressure loss before the appointment so the provider can assess whether routine service is appropriate.

More detail

An on-rim swap does not include removing tires from rims, repairing a tire, selling a new set or performing a wheel alignment. If you need one of those tasks, resolve the scope before booking rather than assuming it is part of a seasonal change.

Make the replacement wheels easy to reach.

Bring the second set to the agreed work location and explain any access restrictions. The technician needs enough clear, level space to work around the vehicle. Building approval, garage clearance and the ability to position equipment all matter; permission to park is not necessarily permission to lift a vehicle for service.

Organizing several wheel swaps at one address?

Understand the checks and follow-up.

Review the recorded tightening and pressure checks and any instructions supplied for your vehicle and wheels. Follow the vehicle or wheel manufacturer’s guidance, including a recheck when applicable; there is no single recheck instruction that fits every setup. Tell the provider about a warning or unusual vibration instead of treating it as normal after a swap.

Common questions

Explore all questions
What is an on-rim wheel swap?

Your replacement tires are already mounted on their own set of rims. We exchange the four complete wheels. To remove tires from their rims, choose the separate off-rim mounting and balancing service.

Can you work anywhere?

The site must be authorized, level, accessible and spacious enough. A private driveway or authorized parking space may work. Street work and unsuitable sites are not accepted.

How is an oil-change price confirmed?

We verify the exact engine, oil specification and quantity, filter and supplies. You receive a fixed quote after that review.

Is my request confirmed immediately?

A provider must be assigned and their availability reserved. You then receive instructions to accept the final price and pay before the confirmation deadline.

What if the weather prevents the service?

We will contact you to arrange an appropriate arrival window. Site safety and quality of work determine whether the visit can proceed.
