The peninsula, Dartmouth and your actual parking position
Give the full service address rather than a general side of the harbour. Describe a sloping driveway, shared access or a building stall before planning around a workday visit. If the car will move from home to an office, choose the location where both the vehicle and any replacement tires can remain during the appointment.
Check access and local notices
Halifax enforces overnight winter parking bans during declared weather and clearing operations. Check municipal updates before planning vehicle access.
Halifax: winter operations and parking guidanceMunicipal guidance concerns access and parking. It does not confirm an available provider or permission to maintain a vehicle on the property.
A workplace swap requires the seasonal set onsite
If you drive to a different side of the harbour for work, decide where the car and its four complete wheels will be available together. The quote is for the chosen location, not an open-ended home-and-office visit. Check the work surface after weather changes; the appointment does not override a local parking restriction.
Include with your request
- Prepare assembled wheels rather than four loose tires.
- Have the locking key and confirm vehicle compatibility for the replacement set.
- Keep the approved work area available for the whole arrival window.
The right details make the difference.
- Four complete wheels already mounted on rims
- Vehicle compatibility and wheel size
- The locking-wheel key if your car uses one
- A clear, authorized private work area
